I did battle with ignorance today, and ignorance won.
To exercise power costs effort and demands courage. That is why so many fail to assert rights to which they are perfectly entitled - because a right is a kind of power but they are too lazy or too cowardly to exercise it. The virtues which cloak these faults are called patience and forbearance.
Ive been with Grievance for a year now and all i can say is ill never look for another guild community again. The vidcast we do are awesome and really get the word out on what we are all about. Playing games is one thing.....playing games with cool, respectable people is quite another.
Well Vinter, we have some guilds that have a large number of players ... for a while our Neverwinter guild was so full that alts were not being allowed! And that has a max guild size of 500! Some of our other games are more moderate, in SWTOR we have anywhere from 12 to 30 people on a night.
Our smaller guilds are called embassies and they are run by our embassy corp. These are small guilds of usually less than 10 people. This allows someplace for people to play when they need some time off from their main game.
It's nice to have someplace else to play with fellow Grievance members, I know I have been bombing around with them after Rift went ftp. And our Rift guild just made it to full guild status, they are working on raids atm! Go Team!! lol
New Wildstar episode tonight on Debuffed: Gaming News Dispelled at 7PM CST/8PM EST! Grievance XOs will be in attendance from both the Exiles, and Dominion - as well as our own Nionya (in Aurin ears!) and special guest Avicious!

I'm a member of Grievance. It's definitely a good guild, lots of members and very helpful in both GW2 and FF14, however if you use Team Speak you often get questioned on if your a guild member or not. Been asked 4X without exaggeration. Makes the average player not wont to use it. With 60 members on line like maybe 8 are using it.....I had my finger on the quit guild button, but remembered how good everyone is in the game chat ( regular members ).
People are encouraged to use TS to better get to know others. Therefore there are quite a bit of people that may jump in TS who are not yet in the actual guild yet. They're simply trying to be pro-active in getting people involved, they don't want anyone to ever feel as if they were missed or ignored. As you said, they do what they can to be very helpful within the game and I believe this is just an extension of that.

Well its not very encouraging when you asked in voice chat if your a member and what's your user name on the forums 4x in two weeks, some are not even officers. I find that embarrassing when others are listening in when your getting the third degree. Now this is ff14 not GW2.
So I fund, don't use the voice and things are great.
