    Was never their goal I imagine.  But they did nail the linear, canyon level design, lobby based,  micro transaction twitch console type game pretty well.  Assuming people like those things.  And apparently lots of people do, just not me.

    You know, I just don't think this is fair.

    If they set out to make a living breathing online world then "yes" i would agree.

    But that's not what they wanted to do.

     

    for some reason some player think that every game should be brought to this comparison but this is simply not true.

    Now, do I think we need more "living breathing online world"? Sure!

    But I don't expect every game company or nay game company to make one of these just because I want one.

    In any case, I would look to Everquest Next as they seem to want to do this.
