Don't think this would of ever worked.

in Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms

(Spoilers ahead)

After watching the Red wedding and the massacre that made my heart ache, there is no way that an MMO could capture the intensity of how the show makes me feel.

I think it would just end up being another themepark with grindy hack and slash inserted into a barely used "politics" system with some form of RvR.

Just don't see this capturing the depth of the book/show. I could be wrong but I just don't see it.

Thoughts? Ideas? Disagreements?

What would be your take on Game of Thrones MMO?

Do you think its possible to recreate the awesomeness of the show?

    Man, last game that made my balls ache like that scene was probably dying and losing a weeks worth of grinding in Lineage 2 back in first couple years of game.

    Cute video, made me lol...still talking about an MMO here not a comparison between TV/movies and books.

    It would hurt more than getting rooked in Tibia... on a non pk server

    It'd have to be mutli-faction FFA-pvp, full loot permadeath sandbox with massive seamless world for starters. Politics, backstabbing etc would come from the players themselves if given proper tools (look at EVE and it's politics, espionage etc)

    I waited all season to watch the rage/sadness people would see from the red wedding. Now it's going to be hard for me not to spoil next season when something happens to someone and something something jail something something fights something death :-O.
