Released within last 2.5 years game with housing

Anything even CLOSE to the building system in Skyrim:Hearthfire would be cool :D

 

Just want the feel of going out, getting mats, building home while killing stuff.

    Have you thought about minecraft?  Not exactly an MMO, but is multiplayer online with great house building...

    I think the expansion of Rift had housing implemented in it.

    Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

    Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

    depending on your preferred kind of game, Rift (they're called dimensions in rift but they're super customizable) Archeage (still have to wait a bit)  Dragon's Prophet (again, still in beta... but you can play in its open beta i believe this week) and DFUW if you like the more pvp oriented games.

    Took a look and would love to play it...if it was ready to play Q_Q

    looking forward to it and have it on a watchlist now though :D

    Well I know your looking for a released title with housing but Wildstar is looking to be pretty deep in terms of housing check out their dev speak video on it:

    if you are looking for an intense harvesting and crafting experience for housing in the last 2.5 years i am afraid you are out of luck currently.

     

    i think even Dragon's Prophet has premade houses that drop as loot or are purchased in and out of game.

     

    if i may skip past the 2.5 year mark the only other game i can think of is Vanguard. although the customization can be a bit awkward once built, the process is highly focused on having players build their own housing. worth a shot if you get desperate.

     

    while the other games do have great customizable housing instances they are all premade with you as the home decorator. what Rift has done is take EQ2's housing and made it look fantastic. so there are not just homes, but instances of the game world itself in which you can decorate and arrange to your heart's content by placing almost anything almost anywhere. its worth a shot even if you just do the free trial (before the open f2p comes in June) you do get a small sample house (which they call dimensions) so you can get a taste of what's available.
