Game is fun...CS is SCARY!!!

Despite what a lot of prudish people are saying, this is a real fun game.

Yes there is nudity and even the avatars that are clothed show a lot of skin. So what? Nothing we haven't seen before or wished we had seen before, I guess.

There actually is a good plotline, game play is smooth and grinding is at an acceptable level for a Korean game. The classes also play very different and the PVP missions are a blast (this coming form someone who faincies himself a PVE player).

Basically the only major gripe with this game so far is the cash shop prices on a few of the items. Now don't get me wrong, I don't feel this is a pay to win game. Most of the items are vanity only, and the few are somewhat necessary are reasonably priced.

Okay, so what am I complaining about? Well, for a game that has so much ridding on looks, the prices for the virtual outfits are simply insane! Case in point, the Tainted Love Adventure Pack  basically will cost you $150. Yes, you heard it right, $150 real world bucks. But wait there's more...that's $150 for EVERY character that you want to have to costume as they are class and character specific. Sure, the pack comes with other stuff, but noting to justify that price.

Given the uproar of the communtiy they recently released the Pantaloon outfit, which looks like a pantomime clown suit for $30. Again, character specific.

And the only other way to get costumes is by buying their "lucky boxes"  in which you have a dismal chance of actually getting what you want, for the character you want or through their "Bonus Step Ladder" programs that basically meen that you will get the coveted outfit free, after you spend $150 on other stuff during a given weekend.

As I said before, this is a real fun game, and I really hope that Aeria comes to their senses soon and creates a cash shop were:

1- you can buy what you want without having to gamble on stupid boxes

2- virtual items would be priced realistically and not for people who run hedge fund companies.

Thanfully most of these items do not impact game play in any major way , but the pricing is right up there with Allods.

Have to agree on the price point. 20K AP for the new teddy. $200 for those who don't know AP purchase ratio. I laughed.

To be fair I think it's a culture thing. Asian economics are different than North American. In terms of currency volume, North Americans don't make a lot of money. We have very strong buying power even at the domestic level. Asian companies think in high currency transactions. They don't understand what $200 means in western economics. I don't think they appreciate that $200 is someones light bill for two months.

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO,  try to have fun instead of rushing things.  Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

good or bad,,thats a matter of taste

it is small, and often hidden behind jiggly body parts, but its there

but, surprisingly, most people dont play SB because of the STORY

    shocking,isnt it?

Grinding is at an acceptable level? Are you kidding me?

I played for like 2 hours and literally did nothing but Auto walking to my objectives, killing monsters, talking to a quest giver, rinse and repeat, 2 hours, of that.

I've never EVER played a MMO as repetitive and uninspired as this.

Played a lot of asian mmo's - even played a few where I could log onto thier server(till they banned ip ranges from western countrys) like I played perfect world on the philipines server and the price of thier cash shop items was 1/3 what it cost me on the western server- but they blocked ip ranges to prevent westerns from getting fed up- paying crazy prices so basically forcing them to pay up!

This is a trend for ALL these free to play games now- they think we have STACKS of cash lying about to waste on games and cash shop items!

Trust me-they charge a fraction of  the prices in the cash shops on the asian market compared to the western market!
