transmutation on gear?

does archeage have something like transmutation on gear? that you can transfer the stats from 1 item to another and therefore are able to wear the armor your really like (and not simply the best / latest you found)?

    While I dont have an official source, I have in fact heard they are supposed to be adding this in a patch this month.
