Do races resemble that of real world people?

in World of Warcraft
I'm trying to understand how the races were created in the game or how they may correlate to specifc lifestyles, past and present, possibly non-related to WOW lore.

    Draenei - Gypsy/Romanian

    Orc - Tribal/Barbaric

    Undead - All races/cultures

    Tauren - Native American

    Trolls - Jamaican

    Blood Elf - Valley Girl/Flamboyant

    Worgen - British

    Pandaren - Chinese

    Goblin - Jersey
