you can make big profits with your materials, but comes with risk. Youd have to sail past pritate island. Your going to need scouts and protection sailing past pirate island. Its sort of like EVE sector 0.0
pirate ships will always sail faster then trading ships.
There will always be pirate scouts in the water looking out for trading ships. Once they spot you, their pirates buddies may show up be prepare to fight for your materials.
Everything is real time there is no instance or shards its seamless.
If you can make it to other land you can make big profits, but there is always a catch you need to sail past dangerous water,
when you spot pirate scouts, main pirate ships arient far away and always go protected. Pirates are always looking for more money.

one of the game's im most looking forward to. hopefully by the time it is out here there will be some advantages to being red (lesser penalty for dying on land for example).
