Good game with sad rules in game and dictatorship in forums. They banned several ppl just for telling their opinion about game, in flames and trolls thread in general discussion. You just can say something that pleases them, if not you banned.
In game also you cant say something like "shit" or "suck", doesnt matter if you are not saying that to anyone. Dont know why but some ppl dont like you say "shit", it seems a word not good enough. Game is rated 12+ years, so its aimed for kids and parents.
They say to you that you have agreed the contract, but who reads contracts ? If i knew this i wouldnt join this game, i would try others, indeed i am thinking about leaving for this, and its not just me i have heard other ppl saying that in forums and in game. Though game is good rules are sad and forums just suck.

While the new forum measures are draconian, Ryzom - like most MMOs - is a commerical enterprise and they have every right to ban people for any reason they want - or no reason at all. It's not necessarily a good idea, but it is their right.
If 12+ then the swearing thing is to protect minors - or more properly, themselves from being sued. You can of course swear like a trooper in any non-public chat.

When are they gonna let you back, grim?
I haven't been told despite several queries. I'm not bothered too much ATM, all it did (and the reactions afterwards) was prove the point I was making.
I'm inclined to think its all a massive cock up and sanity will prevail again soon.

Wow, they banned you?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!
[For those who don't know, grim's a big contributer to Ryzom since, well, always, as far as I know]
I was wondering why I saw little negative comments in their forums these days. (I don't play anymore now.) I figured everyone had left, or got tired of complaining...
Just suspended (banned?) from the forum, not the game.
I'm sure sanity will prevail

Well, I hope they don't let gurthgor back. :-P
In case you missed it, I don't play Ryzom anymore. I did not report you, to anyone. Don't care really. I was just having fun teasing you because you suck. Enjoy life, and irony.
Well aren't you just the example of maturity! And articulate too.

Yes, me sure to be baby and not adult you like. Play MMORPGs I won't moreany because just for grownups.
I don't normally get hung up on English usage -- it might not even be your native language -- but I can't resist when the substance behind the barely coherent presentation is so... lacking.
Anyway, it would seem that forum banning is the new norm from the Ryzom moderators. Sad, but effective. I'm sure newcomers were turned off by some of the threads in General before. Now, the problems are all still there, the new guys just won't find out for a few months while they level up. That gets Nevrax more cash, if not exactly longevity.
