Mining and Exploration??

Combat is a given and I see that trading is mentioned, but is Mining and Exploration a factor in this game.

If its been answered somewhere before I am sorry ... couldnt find it.

    At this point nothing is definite but I sure hope there is.  I bought the freelancer package in the hopes that trading and exploration/mining are a big part of the game.

    Exploration will be a big part of the game as they have talked about it quite a bit. As for mining although it has been mentioned more than a few times by Roberts and the other Devs they have not actually committed to it being in the game or not at this point.
