I just subbed because of AC2. Thing is ive been enjoying ac1 more. Myself and a RL friend started a toon on frostfell the other day. We both started AC during the beta nd up untill 2001. Lots of new stuff. My question is, What is decal and should we install it. Is it user friendly? Lots of builds say train in assess creature. Why is that? I thought it just lets you see its level and stuff. Anyone of Frostfell thay would not mind getting bomb barded with questions in game?? Thanks

    Decal is an unofficial but permitted plug-in for Asheron's Call 1. It has a lot of uses. A couple of those are the buff bots you see in popular towns, and loot alerts that you can set to tell you when certain items, or equipment with certain specs appear in loot. Map, portal maps to get around, housing locations, inventory control, death items, automated self buffing....

    It can also be used to macro-play the game. Unattended macroing is NOT permitted. Attended macroing is.

    Decal itself won't do anything for you. It's the plug-ins that are important. Decal is the interface and coding hooks that plug-ins use.

    And getting Decal and the plugins up and running the way you want is as much of a challenge as the game.
