Play SOG or no?

Ill play SOG to see if the game are good and later play the D&L in April if the game look´s great

    im gunna play sog i really have nothign else to play and i think this game looks pretty good

    This is going to be interesting since Settlers of Ganareth is not the "game" but the prequel to the game. I suspect it will be a way to test dynamic content creation (content beta?) and allow clans who do something to be entered into the game's storyline.

    While Settlers is going on so will normal game development in the beta. So the devs seem to be doing parallel development.

    Why not give it a shot? Its free and gives everyone a chance to see whether its good or not before a requirement of $$$ is put into place. Besides, it appears that some legacy of the SoG players will be in the true D&L release. I doubt its been decided what that will even be but it will be something.

    Maybe the "Lin loves ???" that I carve into the tree in SoG will still be visible in D&L many years later...

    I will most definitely play this.  I have done quite a bit of reading on this game and it looks very interesting indeed.

    It's free. Why wouldn't you try it? You have nothing to lose except the time it takes to download it.
