Here is a good one

I bought the collector's edition when Aion came out, set up my account then found out I could not play because I had no credit cards at the time.  Got a laugh when I got an email message my Aion account time had expired since I could never log into the game.

Anyways, fast forward to now and I attempt to log in now that it is f2p.  Spent a day downloading the game as it had changed a lot from my 1.5 version.  Get the message my account is blocked?  Now that is sad when they block an account that was NEVER used.  

So I opened a ticket and got a reply that my appeal has been rejected?  What the heck?  Sure I could set up another account, but it is the principle of the thing.  

NCSoft is still has the worst support in the genre, bar none.  And they wonder why people don't play their games.

Next time I will not be so stupid to spend money on a game they produce.

    Did you happen to migrate your account to the new account system yet? I know that's what happened to my account, they switched up the system and I was unable to play my old characters until I migrated. 

    This may or may not be your issue, I just had a similar experience. 

    Do you know for certain?

    perhaps you can look at this another way.

    There is a game that is being created by an asian developer that also made another game that I tried out some time ago.

    I went to sign up for the beta and received an e-mail indicating that my account was "no longer good" as my e-mail was related to some sort of unscrupulous activities in their game.

    Now, I never do any unscrupulous activities nor did I play their other game for more than a day or so. My guess is that someone got hold of my account, used it for gold selling or whatnot and they banned me. Had nothing to do with me, probably one of the companies that sent me an e-mail indicating that a some of their accounts had been compromised.

    I didn't take it personally and if I try one of their games again I might just have to use another e-mail.

    It's possibly that a similiar thing happened to you.
