The Best Class...

in World of Warcraft
Im lookin for a fairly balanced but more damage dealing type of character. I'm new so enlighten me to the possibilities

    If u want caster then go with mage, if a meleer, then rogue.
    Mages have crowd control and AOEs while rogues can sneak and get into hardtoget places.

    I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

    Warrior can do a lot of dmg as well.

    No class is the best but I haven't played all the classes yet but I think the rogue is one of the most damaging classes. But I play a warrior, not to deal the most damage, just because I love being warriors in mmorpgs.

    I think rouges just got nerfed after 1.8, can anyone clarify this?

    Slow dagger Rogue users (AKA: Barman Shanker Rogues) got nerfed... every other dagger rogue got upgraded. So they nerfed Rogues that abused 2.0 dagger speed, but helped people like me that used 1.4 or 1.5 speed daggers cause we're calculated on a 1.7 speed now!!
