Checks and balances

There needs to be a system of checks and balaces with the  moderators here. 

 

I have seen some silly moderation here recently.  I also have sent some emails in about with no reply.

 

I get that there needs to be moderation and that people need to be civlil.  That is all well and good.  There does have to be a system in place that verifies that the moderators are doing their jobs fairly.  I have seen some posts deleted recently and it seems unexplainable to me. 

 

Please put forth some system of checks and balances.  Overzelous and biased mods are just as bad for a interent community as trolls.  Trolls can be ignored.  Overzelous and biased mods hurt the legitimate posters.
