Hi all JHawk here,
Im looking for a game that i can spend SOME time playing not ALL the time i have a life. Ive tried some mmo games usually the same routine grind, level, get new gear, then get bored repeat.
Im a huge Space/Sci Fi fan before i continue Yes ive played EVE online love the game but to time consuming and the political bs on that game is horrible Ive tried Star Trek online to fast pace and repetitive not enough customizing, ive also played Battlestar Galactica same thing cool ships but not much to achieve.
Im looking for a game like a fantacy game im usually the Warrior hate magical stuff that i can play abit and build an empire that i can customize housing, castles, armies, farming, agriculture, ect not this level up build clan get better gear and grind no no no.... Very typical play style that gets old and achieves nothing but leveling.
Or a Sci fi game simular to EVE online i can fly around get better ships, better gear, Customizeable ships or gear that i can fight, explore when i mean explore i mean accomplish something while exploring unlike eve you fly and you just find planets and asteroids and ocassional rats. That i can claim and build and make better.
As you can tell im a very stratagy type player i want either person or ship to be able to make stratagies for my abilities to make and grow something to face other players I play Halo Wars great game little limited and repetitive as you use the same tactics all the time depending on circumstances.
Ive seached the list and found most of these Fantasy games the same thing just different title and graphics i dont want the typical play style. I want something interesting similar to my request up top i know there wont be a game that has exactly what i want unless i made a game but as long its similar to my requests that i can have fun with its good enough for me.
Games played:
Eve Online- great game, good graphics but to demanding and can get bored as your doing either mining, ratting or pvp.
Star Trek online - To fast pace things die to easily i prefer a challenge and repetitive and very confusing at first.
Battlestar Galactica - Fun game great concept on the pvp side but very little to do and dont achieve very much.
Requium - Fun love the classes but repetitive and grinding
World of Tanks - Still playing this game very fun nice to get better tanks but tier matches are unfair and can get boring as your driving tanks all the time and the Public matches can get dull as players dont know how to play.
Maplestory- Played this when i was younger dont anymore as its kidish graphics
Mabinagi - Same thing kid graphics and got boring
Perpetuum - Loved the graphics and robot interactions but was little limited on the activity in the game.
Fallen Earth - Game concept was nice but the community of GM's and players where not so helpful and alot of hacking also the Riflemen where no match to pistol users in PVP.
Thank you for your suggestions very much appreciative

I believe the reason for lack of response is a lot to read and also people wont be able to say "Guild Wars 2 is the game for you" to this post.
From the looks of it your looking for a MMO that is scifi theme to play a warrior without getting everything handed to you so that you have a sense of accomplishment. I do have a few games to suggest.
Anarchy Online: Dated but it fits the bill for what your looking for and offers a F2P option so you can try it out first. I used to play this years ago but stopped because of shadowlands was EZ-Mode for leveling characters. If you can get into the atmosphere of the game which is rich and dark it will be a very interesting experience as a melee character. You may want to play an Enforcer.
Neocron 2: This game just recently went free and looks like a fun scifi shooter game with some depth and a small cult following.
SWTOR: Pretty much speaks for itself, I canceled my subscription because it felt like a singleplayer rpg which is not worth $15 a month. It had some pretty solid gameplay but I felt I was playing the clone wars kid MMO because of the cartoony graphics.
I as well am looking for the same as you but have nobody to play with so if you do find something send me a PM and I will go as well if you wish.
I thank you for your response Ill look at these game suggestions, I have looked at the SWTOR game i agree its not worth the $15 a month by the looks of the vids and comments. ill check out the others here, just hard to find a game to stick with.
Most of these Fantasy games are the same play styles theres no real in depth to them Quests, and grind thats about it.
Just a FYI SWTOR will be going free 2 play sometime later this year.

Wurm Online would cover most of what you want from this paragraph. Not everyone's cup of tea but worth a look if you've not tried it before.
Thank you for this information if it does go to F2p that would be nice. Does it have a nice Community? Games usually turn me off when the community is a very agressive and kiddish just like Fallen Earth the community was very nasty in the game.
Thank you ill give this game a look might be something interesting.
Avoid swtor, its dreadfully dull. If you like idea of story go tsw instead, it does the same thing, but much better.

Ive checked out Wurm Online great concept game but there is still improvements this game needs before ill play it the animations and graphical things turn me off from it also noticed the trial is very limited but other than that i hope it gets an update and continues but for me its not ready to be played yet.
You can already play SWTOR for free up to level 15 without any time limit. If you want to check it out, you have nothing to lose.
Ive played Perpetuum i should have remember that game forgot to put on list i agree great game fun but some aspects it was lacking like creativity like i did Mining and Combat but that was about it, it got boring after a while so i stopped playing.
Ive played this game before and i wont go back because the GM's and the hacking in that game is incredibly retarted but thanks ill have to put on the list ive played lol.
Ah thats cool i can do that thanks for the info
