Account banned?

in Guild Wars 2

Logged in today and got error that my account has been permanently banned. My friends are online and see me logged in, so I've clearly been hacked.   I have received several emails over the last few days with the "reset your password" that IGN mentioned today, and I have never clicked on the links. I purchased it from Amazon . Perhaps there is a link. I believe I was hacked, then was used as a gold spammer or something and reported and banned? This is total BS. I have filed a ticket but bet it takes days to get to me. Soo ragging....beware

    Good luck my friend as there are no forums or support numbers to call. Maybe try posting on Facebook or Twitter and see if you can get help there. I had 2 friends from work come home to banned accounts as well and they are still trying to find a way to contact support.

    This is a known problem and they are working on it.

    You can submit a ticket here: http://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/ask. I would do that and wait. They totally screwed the pooch on account security, but one of the things they have done is lock affected accounts.
