Is Counter Strike still played? (1.6 and Source)

I've played some really good online fps's during my abscense from CS like Combat Arms, Wolfteam, Aliance of Valiant Arms, Crossfire etc: but now I'm thinking of going back into CS once again but excluding GO (personally I think it looks terrible). So I ask you this, is it worth getting going back to it nowadays or should I move on?

    I've played CS:GO too and I honestly hate it in comparison to CS:S... There are still a lot of people that play it here in aus/nz and I personally will never get sick of it so I say why not go for it? ;]

    OP You can't be serious.

    Cs 1.6 is still the third most played game on steam. 50k simultaneous players all day every day.

    Only tf2 and dota2 have more players, the new cs:go has less players.

    Still play from time to time myself. Counter Strike will never die and I still think its the best fps ever. Poops all over COD imho.

    CS 1.6 is the most memorable CS title, some of mt friends are still playing it.

    Heys guys Im having a problem here. When I launch the game everythings fine, but when I click on find server or any other option menu there's nothing but blank text.
