... i'm not jaded by playing the other MOBA's on the market.
I tried LoL for about 30 minutes before uninstalling, thats about as far as my MOBA experience goes.
Is it because of this that I find SMITE entertaining? I just played my first, maybe 10 matches, and I had a blast. Didn't win them all, but I certainly enjoyed myself.
Anyone else happy about SMITE? I know I am.

Same here I've hated all other MOABs I've played but SMITE is a blast.
This game is on the right track....It needs new content though(more maps and game types) before we get bored of it...
*Oh and pls HighRes create an EU server.Lag is terrible for us europeans
Well I mean it IS closed beta, so I think they'll probably add a lot still.
Yet most MOBA's don't have a whole lot of extra maps and modes early on, I mean Domination is kind of a new thing to LoL.
Well, i've got 2 friends and LoL is the only thing they play, pretty seriously as well.
(also watch replays/livestreams etc.) I gave them my smite beta keys and they both love it,
their only complaint so far is that they haven't found a god yet that they really like,
I think thats mainly due to new gods being unlocked so incredibly slow, but it's still beta anyway as well...
The game is just really enjoyable, it feels completely different from top-down view MOBA's. Feels unique in a way as well i must say.
Its been a new god about every 2-3 weeks, that seems average among MOBA's.
I never played the original DOTA, and friends convinced me to buy HON where I played 50-100 games but never really liked it because I wasn't that good. Never played LOL or DOTA2 after my stint with HON. I like Smite as well, much more than any other MOBA I've played...
Former xFire user... I only wanted a game tracker and messenger, not a screenshot taker, video recording, broadcasting piece of bloatware.
I played this about a week after I played LoL. I haven't really played LoL since. I didn't mind the game, but Smite is just more intuitive for me because of my experience with MMOs. (That's not to say that I've never played an RTS, it's just that no RTS has really interested me in years, not even Blizzards "oh-so great" Starcraft 2.)
Plus, it's an all out battle royale against the greatest Gods in Ancient mythology. Despite some of them not technically being "Gods" (Guan Yu, for example) , whoever thought of this idea is amazing. I hope Hi-Rez can pump out more Gods and content for the game to keep it awesome.
Groovy.
i love smite because i don't have to click to move that makes smite better than LoL to me
