What do you think the most common class/race combo will be?

Gonna be really interesting in seeing what the most popular race/class combo is rolled... we gonna see a bunch of rats with armor running around (Asura/warrior/guardian)? Or we gonna see tons of leafy elves with bows (Sylvari/ranger)???? what do you think ?

I'm predicting Human Warrior. Pretty boring.
I think rangers will be the highest played class period.
As far as race/class combo though... Norn Warriors

almost every poll I've seen Rangers are in the middle of the pack for profession choices. Warriors and Elementalists are on top of every poll
Most likely will be human + elementalist.
Kinda makes me sad, I never play warriors, or cutesy races, But I've been planning to plan an Asuran Sniper, and to hell with everyone else. I just hate the idea of playing the favored class with the favored race.....

These are the main stereotype classe/race combos that I expect to see.
These polls dont represent the community well enough.. trust me.
Ranger/hunter type classes are always overpopulated... some of which ide like to steriotype into the type of gamer that wouldnt be voting on those polls : /
I'll be playing a charr necro, but to each their own. Unless I change to Engi last second.
With 5 races and 8 classes, a completely even race/class distribution would mean every race/class combo comprises exactly 2.5% of the population.
Although I think Elementalists will be the most played class and either Humans or Sylvari will be the most played races, I think Asuran Engineer will be the most played race/class combo, possibly comprising as much as 4.5% of the total player pop.
i would say Norn Hunter too
i dont know why but we might see a lot of asura melee , i saw a lot in the last beta
According to Massively's recent poll, it's human elementalist.
Human is the most popular race by far, with Asura the next most popular.
Ele and Guardian are the most popular classes.

Close, but Warrior is the most popular class in that poll. Ele and Guardian come after that.

But I think overall it will be relatively balanced. People seemed to enjoy all sorts of races and classes.

Asura + anything. There is really no other option. Asura is the true master race.
Sadly enough it'll be Human Warriors and Human Guardians as the most played.
Asura will be 2nd run race, with most composing of Engineers and followed by Elementalists
Charr will be the LEAST played race in the game, with Norn on their tails (ha!) as second least played.
We have a good idea where people who follow the forums will shake out, but these polls can always be upset by the influx of the millions of players who never saw, or answered a poll on the subject.
I think Human Warrior is a good bet, not only due to the polls, but Human Warrior always seems to be a popular choice for players who only show up at launch.
Human will almost certainly be the most common race. Warrior will almost certainly be the most common class. However, there will be races for which Warrior ends up near the middle or even lower for a particular race.
These are the top three per race, according to gw2census.com
Human Mesmer/Elementalist/Warrior
Norn Warrior/Guardian/Ranger
Charr Warrior/Engineer/(Necromancer distant third).
Asura Elementalist/Engineer/Guardian
Sylvari Ranger/Mesmer/Elementalist
The least chosen pairings are:
Charr Mesmer/Elementalist/Thief
Norn Mesmer/Engineer/Thief
Asura Ranger/Warrior
Sylvari Warrior/Engineer/Guardian
Human Engineer/Ranger/Necromancer
The overall least polled combo is Charr Mesmer, so those that like to play the least popular combo have a winner.
Once again, though, those numbers could be skewed with the influx of players who don't spend much time on these sites and haven't taken any of these polls.

I can see this being true, with engineers being ranked #1. However, plan on seeing a lot of Asura warriors and guardians, not that there is anything wrong with that, ha!

I took the liberty of punching the stats from that site into a spreadsheet to see what % of the total player pop each race/class combo comrpises. Here's the result:

It's interesting to note that Humans have 4 classes that comprise a larger number of the total player population than any of the other races' most played class. These are Mesmer (6.09%), Elementalist (5.44%), Thief (4.89%) and Guardian (4.51%).
But like you said, it's impossible to know how representative these numbers will be of the actual population.
