Gw2 on MacBook air 2012 boot camp

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone is playing the beta on one of the new MacBook airs? I would be really interested to see if it could run gw2 in boot camp, but obviously don't wanna buy the game to try and find I can't play. I've got the base 13" model but with 8gb of ram.
Please don't turn this into mac vs windows, not primarily for gaming so i don't want to sell the MacBook and buy a pc, and can't afford to buy another computer, please no advise on buying computers.
I'm not expecting it to play well, or on anything other than lowest settings, but is it playable?
