I think the person confused is the person that thinks the above quote means they have published a game in the last 10 years that would incite calling them "worst publisher"......did Field Commander on the PSP get you that mad?....derpdy derp....
And regarding CoD..... did I say CoD MW3/Black ops was made by infinity ward? Does what you pointed out even go agasint my point that Activision did not make CoD? No?...then why even "argue" it....
Blizzard, simply because they are the most dangerous. They literally use there name and IP's to sell shit product.
But what makes them so bad is how far they have fallen, and how many people still hold them in high regard.
If you have been around for a while it has been a lot like watching something turn slowly evil. Once one of the companys that could do no wrong they now are out for crash grabs at every turn and they don't even put the effort in. The fact that they still have so many people holding them in high regard is what makes them simply the worst.
Yeah EA and NCSoft are horrible. But people know they are horrible. They know that and thus buy with caution, Blizzard has actually befriended it's player base then slowly poisoned them for the love of money. At least EA spits in my face and doesn't try to catch me from behind, Blizzard is the sneaky bad guy.
Luckily we still have Valve, whose biggest transgression is not coming out with games fast enough lol. You can really tell they care about the games they make and they are not trying to squeeze every penny out of there customers for the short term rush. I mean look at the orange box, best value I have ever gotten out of a game. The half life series...amazing. Counter-Strike. They give me hope that some companys still care about the consumer.

Its not that valve wants to make great games, they have all the revenue from steam, so they don't really.. have to. To put a game on steam valve gets 30% of what the game sells for plus a licesening (I can never spell this damn word) fee I believe.

B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

why? they make the most money by an enormous margin, yet they dont put the money back in to the game. WoW expansions should be Kunark sized and yearly. At least when other companies put out cahs shops on top of sub models, you can believe the money gets at least partially put back into the game. But with WoW? I have no clue where that money goes, but it sure isnt to WoW's development. Games like Rift and EQ2 that have less than 10% of WoW's NA/EU subs put out more content than WoW. Every company is in it to make money. Blizzard is the one company that I can for 100% certain say is abnormally greedy.
Ive been saying this for years. Look at the price of Cata xpac its still 39.99 on the blizz store. How is this game still costing full price when less then two months away their new xpac is releasing. Battlechest with just WoW and BC is 19.99 really 19.99 that should just be FREE. WoTLK 19.99 REALLY !!! Blizzard is greedy and their greed shows.
SoE 2nd because they treat their games like they are greedy yet dont get the funds cuz they are mental. Why would u release Vanguard when it couldnt even play on the minimum settings OR the recommended ones aswell. I forked over 1k to upgrade my computer for just 10 more FPS that feb after launch.

The IPs they have buried have been the lucky ones because usually when they decide to actually produce games from IPs that they've aquired it is usually pure desecration they heap apon those great games of the past.
