Power supply for like 67-70$?
Hi. I think I might need a new power supply. I have some no name 500W PS. Yesterday while playing GW2 my pc turned off. I couldn't turn it on for some time. Then it turned off again after some time. I heard some strange noices coming from it. I believe it was coming from PS.. Maybe my pc only overheated and crashed b/c of vga or cpu. I don't know still I think getting better ps would be good idea. Anyboy know some cheam (60-70$) power supply? I probably need like 550W or 600W just in case my current 500W wasn't enough.

I'll try and save you some trouble. Please list the equipment in your computer and we can advise you on what PS will best suit your needs. If by chance this happens to be a pre-built system there is a HIGH chance a LOT of the parts are pretty bottom basement in which case the PS might not be your only issue, although it is a good place to start. That said this (after mail-in rebate and their current 20% off discount) is pretty hard to beat. I personaly don't use NZXT but this one gets a pretty average score overall at it's original price and it's 80 plus bronze certified and modular to boot.

Ok, newegg and amazon are the two most commonly used sites when offering advice on what to buy. If neither of those are available to you due to your geographic location it would help us if you provided online sites which can/will deliver to Poland. Also, now that you mention you are in Poland, do you mean 67-70USD?
I know hardware is expensive in poland. That's why i said 60-70$ b/c I know it would cost a little more here (probably something like 80 or 90).

Based on what I read in this article (trusted professional review site) I would say steer clear of that PSU. I highly recommend you check out the article yourself and it might help you decide on your own which PSU best fits your budget should you decide to order from the site you linked.

I personally prefer Seasonic and Superflower as an OEM. They have a proven track record for quality PSU's. Also make sure whatever you choose it is at the very least 80 Plus certified.
EDIT: According to that article the XFX line of PSU's are made by Seasonic so if you can find one of those in your budget that meets the above criteria I'd say you should be good to go. Use the following link to save yourself some time.

I'd stay away from the "Cheaper alternative" as that statement is more true than the Barbarbar originally meant. The TX650 is a Seasonic PSU, the CX600 on the other hand is made by Channel Well. That link I provided is quite handy in noticing these little nuances.
Buying a cheap power supply to replace a possibly faulty cheap power supply isn't the smartest idea.

Those PSs Barbar posted are at least listed on 80 plus site. But they have standard rating.

XFX Core 550W 135mm 80+ SLI PSU (P1-550S-XXB9)
and
XFX Core 650W (P1-650S-NLB9) sound good.

The XFX Core power supplies under 600 W are the Seasonic S12II platform, which is also used in the Antec High Current Gamer series. Above 600 W, they're the same platform as the Corsair TX V2, and also made by Seasonic. But you really don't need the extra wattage; with the hardware you have, you'll probably never pull 250 W from the power supply.
The Corsair CX V2 line that was linked above is Corsair's low end line. It's not terrible, but it's not that great, either. It's one of the ones I'd recommend to someone trying to get something decent on a severe budget, but for that, I'd usually recommend the 380 W or 430 W versions, as severe budgets don't allow for high-powered parts. I don't think it's appropriate to your situation.
That something is made by Channel Well doesn't automatically mean it's good or bad. Channel Well also makes Corsair's HX series, which was their top of the line for a while. Even today, it's still very nice, though I think it tends to be overpriced.
So that sums it nicely. Thanks everyone you helped me greatly. I only hope yesterdays problems were power supply related and not something else.. =/ But I guess overheating would have some different symptoms than simply pc turning off.
