I didn't play the original so not sure how that worked

has anyone heard where the servers will be based, will each region have their own servers, eu / us etc ?

would be nice if we could choose what region we play too, would make settings up outfits a lot easier

    Original PlanetSide had US, EU, and I believe Asia or Japanese servers. The Japanese servers dried up the quickest, and merged into the EU servers. Then the EU & US servers merged with their own servers. Finally, EU & US servers were merged into I believe 2 servers last i played.

     

    Given Planetside2's scope, we'll most likely see US, EU, China, and Japan servers again, or Japan will have to run off EU servers.
