Anyone seen it?  Is it worth the theater price or a Netflix movie?

    Naval officiers play cowboy against alliens.

    From that point you should be able to determine if you like or not.

    The story line looks so so, been there done that, but hell, I am going to see it if just for the special effects.  They look awesome.  With todays technology, the theater can make you think it's real.

    Yeah, The Hobbit is shot in 48 fps and the next Avatar will be 60 fps and both movies will be available in 3D.

    I think the better description is a movie based on the board game. That's enough for me to pass.
