Ok if Blizzard is making $55 million a month on WoW and you think all that money is going BACK towards the game you are wrong. Blizzard is currently sitting on the throne of MMORPGs and seems they don't care to take it up a notch.
Part of the money is going to the cost of servers, employees, etc.
Part is going towards content and development..
Most of it is going towards investments that has no relations WHATSOEVER to World of Warcraft.
(Maybe other games, maybe the stock market who knows?)
