just to let everyone know high rez textures are in for bwe checked the settings for client and woot there they were

I can verify the statement, the option is there and checkable.
I just wish they set up a DX11 render path sometime, like Blizzard did with WoW, that enhanced the performance by quite a bit.

Is there a low and med too ? Than high is just the same as med. They just forgot to remove it.
no highrez is a check box in options there are normal setting you change low med high ultra
How are you able to tell if the client has hi res textures? I have the client installed and patched up. Where are you getting these options? All I see is my login screen to play....

There are low, medium, high textures. But High Res Textures is a separate option which I think only affects characters.
It was allready in the last press beta, cynical brit said there wasn't much difference with the normal textures, ... on the bright side the performance with these high textures is very smooth.
i have seen a lot of footage with the normal textures on highest settings that allready looked equally to Tera quallity

The checkbox was already there in the press beta. The actual textures were not. Nor will they be this weekend.
