Crappy support

The TERRIBLE support for this game is astounding. I cannot understand how a game is going to continue to survive with this crappy support. You can email support, and get no responce about issues that affect mutiple players. I have pmed slappy, and support and recieved no email back whatso ever. If i had gotten a simple email with something like "We are currently looking into the matter." i would have been a little happier. But I didnt even get that simple of a responce. How long does it take to copy and paste that into all emails that maybe regarding the same situation.

The next issue i have is the GMs. I was in-game the other day, and asked a GM what i was doing wrong and or if the "thing" in question was broken. He pmed me back and proceded to tell me i was and idiot and wasnt doing it correct after i had told him exactly what i had done. He pmed me back and told me to do it the same exact way i did it. He proceded to tell me I was obviously doing it wrong. At that point i got fed up with the crappy support and logged off. Frankly if they ever want this game to grow, they need to make some major changes.

Third, they have some serious issues with the blacksmith that they do not want to address. The blacksmith does not work correctly. Well according to them it works eactly the way it is supposed to. The only problem is that i have spent over 1k metals and i have nothing to show for it. When you consider that it takes about 2 months to get 1k metals and you get crap for it then... Before a patch they put out supposedly making the success rate "higher" i had much much better success. I had a 2 +9 bows and a +9 shield. I now have a +0 bow, a +3 bow and a +1 shield. All of these items are what they consider "low level" so the success rate should be very very good. Guess what its not...

Anyway if you are considering purchasing the game, i wouldnt use any metals. I would save them up or sell them. There is no point. And if you have any issue in game forget about it because the support people wont help you.

    I think you just came here to flame for fun... You, I and others here are just the gamers... and most of us don't realize what crap the companies put up with and what they do. And unless you have SS's of the GM being 'rude', then do you really have any credibility? Shit man... if it only takes one person's word then...

    You are a hacker who constantly called me a flaming homo and tried to rape me. Now should I call the cops and have you arrested without proof? No...

    ok, i was attempting to make this as professional as possible by not posting any screenshots, by not posting any names of people involved and so on. I can leave some screenshots of the terrible support you get in this game, as well as my log of what has happened at the blacksmith. So, no this is not a random flaming post. These are serious issues that need to be addressed by PWG and Youxi.

    The support team here at Planetwide Games responds to support emails as quickly as they are able to. They deal with many, many customers each day, and sometimes they are unable to respond as quickly as they would like. It is our highest priority to help our customers and ensure their happiness in RYL: Path of the Emperor.

    If a GM is responding to you in a rude manner and is insulting you, please notify someone from the in-house staff so we can address the issue immediately. GM's should act professionally, and if someone is not doing so, we need to know who that person is.

    There currently are no "issues" with the blacksmith. He is working just as he is supposed to, even while the the odds do not seem so good. The blacksmith is supposed to have some level of difficulty, or else everyone will have AAA+++ equipment.  However, the staff here at RYL realizes just how difficult upgrading items seems to be, and we are looking into making some changes that will benefit everyone.

    With the Customer Appreciation Drop Event going on right now, you should be able to gain a majority of your metals back quite easily with the increased drop rates.

    And again, it is very important to us that you are treated correctly. If you have screenshots of the GM, please send them to [email protected] so we can address the issue at hand.

    Well, I would like to respond to the above post, without turning this into a flame contest. I in no way wish for this to turn into a flame contest. I have made these post in the attempt to get PWG and or Youxi to make some changes. Anyway, it is very hard to get to speak with an inhouse, when there are no GMs and no guides on. What is the response to this: We are currently working very hard on a new patch, and most of our GMs and Guides are on the Alpha server testing it. I then spoke to a Guide about this. He says he hasnt seen a new patch on the Alpha server in quite some time. Makes you wonder doesnt it. Anyway x.factor is now working on 2 of the issues that i have, and i hope they get resolved quickly. As for the blacksmith here is a log of what has heppend with my gear over the last few days. This monring i actually had some good luck at the blacksmith, so i hope this means things are changing slightly :) Enjoy:

    No flame contest here image You bring up some legitimate concerns that many other customers have had too. We appreciate all constructive criticism.

    Speaking first-hand, I can tell you that the in-house GM's are always on the live and tournament servers. We are working hard on a new patch, but the GM team is always in-game. It is quite possible that the guide you spoke to may not have known about the patch information because he is not in-house.

    As far as the blacksmith goes, I personally understand how difficult it can be, and frustrating. I have attempted upgrades myself and have had terrible luck. It is an issue that is seriously being looked into. It's nice to know you had a little bit of luck with the blacksmith this morning. Hopefully you will be able to follow that pattern more often.image
