The game is decent as a free to play type game. But it is not an mmo its more of a single player RPG with some chat thrown in. Who is actually willing (Be honest) to pay $15 dollars a month for a game not worth one penny???
I did play the starter planets on both sides with all classes during the turkey weekend event. The game is well worth a penny. Nice troll post I fell for it and fed you.

Wondering how you came up with this unique and interesting thread.........
/Sarcasm off
I would pay 15 bucks a month, and I'm probably not the only one, this game is epic, and is far more fun than any game I've played recently.
Why would anyone pay 15 bucks for any MMO? what a silly question. Because it is worth it for you? did i answer it right?
How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release?
ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6. US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian. Subs will be so low there is no need for more Snoocky-How many servers? The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...
Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.
Is that what you're looking for in this thread? Not sure why you would make it. Although I'm convinced that Blizzard, in it's billions of dollars, is not above trying to come to forums like these, and hire people to just trash it's competition.
Blizzard has nothing worry about when it comes to this game.
Blizzard is 'worried' actually.
Not by SWTOR or any one particular MMO but in their own game.
Subs of WoW is declining. That's a fact.
You had the CEO of Blizzard talking to the investors on how to turn that around in the last earnings call by saying stuff like 'Faster content / expansions'
That's a company 'worrying'.
Well you know what's funny?Even with a decline in subs they still have more than any other mmo ever had.
Monthly Sub does not garantee updates...at least playable ones, so theory of PTP better than FTP is changing..even if it was the case, it is certainly not anymore..in fact FTP games have different model that gets money out of you more than PTP model, take for example Joymax latest game release "Digimon Online" their cash shop certainly brings in money enough for them to keep the game content coming
That was just my point anyway for anyone who thinks PTP is "waaaay" better than FTP because of updates.

Seems you are on a crusade to make SWtoR to go F2P, if you dont want to pay the subs, thats your choice, but voicing your opinions down peoples throat wont work for me, fortunately most of us who actually like the game have moved to the official or fan sites to discuss the content.
I have looked at your post history and you are begining to sound like a parrot repeating yourself, and before the Beta weekend you showed no interest in the game, your just harping on with hate because either you cant afford to play or the community just left you behind with whatever game you are playing, and i bet its a f2p game.
You can keep your f2p game, they cost more to play than subs, and even you made a post hating on people buying stuff in that model, you have an opinion but getting people to do what you want them to do is another matter.
WELL SYLVARI GW FANGIRL from ur name ur certainly one
I played GW1 and the guuy is right crappy content slow paced
f2p will always lack of content unlike AAA p2p and beside we talking about BIO and EA they have the money unlike arenanet (wich btw the support will be ncwest those who supported aion wich means BIG ZERO communinity support...good luck with that)
I wont mention the community either..childish im pro pvper jerks are not my cup of tea
Now do me a favor go play ur crappy f2p piece of trash poor mmo's and let us we who have the job and money to spend on AAA p2p games kkthxbb
Well I sure wouldn't but a lot of people undoubtly would and will. How many exactly, remains to be seen. I would still assume the subscriptions will be only a fraction of the box sales, as usual.
Me - I got bored at level 10. Glad I didn't pay anything for the box.
So what "fraction" what a quiant old term you must be old? 4/5? 15/16? top heavy fraction 4/3? but I'm guessing you mean something like 1/4 or maybe 1/5 ? am I right? but you are right time will tell so lets wait shall we?
Yep going to give it a whirl for a few months.

That doesnt change the fact that wow loose each month 50k-70k subs without making new subs to recover the loses so yep that worrying and fail..wow is done for deal with it
Unless you hated the game in the first week or two of playing it, I imagine many people will play through their month and make a decision then. I think SWTOR is WELL worth the retail box price, as it is an extremely polished MMORPG with a great storyline.
Me personally, I will make a decision once I am done with the main storylines for 1-2 characters, and see what else they have added to the game to see if it is worth my ongoing $$$. I am fortunate that $15/month is an insignificant expenditure for me at this point in life, although I will not shell out any money for something I do not deem worth it or that I consider a "waste" of money.

All these 'this game is a single player game' threads are stupid.
Perhaps if you made it past Level 10 before telling everyone your informed opinion there would be less of this crap.
Theres a storyline to follow while you level up, once you reach end game its 100% MMO. Dungeons, Raids, Faction vs Faction open world PvP, FFA PvP.... yeah that totally sounds like a single player game.
I will gadly pay 15euros or whatever the sub is for this game, but i tell u know, i wont be playing GW2 if it being free. But i can give you a hint, dont play the game if you dont like it, because a free game will have no updated content or any decent content, yes even gw just wait and see, i pay for SWTOR because i expect BW to go thru with their part or the agreement, wich is Content update with regularity.
I lol at this, some people need to do there research before making comments about games they obviously know nothing about.
The story is far more entertaining than i thought, but i don't think its something that can hold me long term. So i suppose it depends on what the endgame offers, (,which at this point doesn't seem to be a whole lot) or if i would be able to bring myslef to make an alt very quickly after finishing my "mains" first story.
This coming from someone who doesn't typically like themeparks.

I will.
Thoroughly enjoying playing it and happy to pay next to nothing via a $15 sub to do so.
You did ask!

Idiots.
You should take your own advice.
I will, for a lil while at least.

I would.
15 dollars ? I pay more in a week for coffee. Funny how people think 15 dollars is a lot.
[mod edit]
Seriously though this game is awesome sauce, I love it, they can take my 15 again and again every month for some time yet.
