I think your in the wrong forum if you wanna discuss improvments to MO. Here there is mostly people that hate the game expressing their minds everytime they have some minuts to spare

Not quite, I am all for discussing interesting aspects of MO, and giving credit where credits due. SV however havn't really been impressing lately, except them finally improving nodes. Issue is, that it is almost impossible to discuss MO here in neutral light, not only due to many negative remarks, but also due to many fans turning blind eye to any issue (and there are quite many). But I guess it is in humans nature not wanting to admit that quality of a product you paid money for is questionable.

Yeah, cause everyone just HAS to have twitter if Henrik does tweets. I don´t have a account. Don´t want it. But I still can follow someones tweet etc. But you guys go ahead and think that all active accounts are following Henrik on twitter if that makes you feel good or something. Then you have another solid, ehmm, proof of how many active players MO has. Jfc.

I also acknowledge alot of MOs bugs. There are a few out there, and many are annoying. The nodelines was the biggest, making PVP, that is most of the game now, quite useless, or unfair. But that has now been, if not perfected, at least made it playable, and works lika a charm in PVP. But there are still bugs there, but the games good sides way surpass the bad sides. So only 1,5 year after release we get a full map? what's the use anyways? Myrland is all you'll ever get of nave.
This is only the first draft of the map of Nave. And how do you know we won't ever get to see it. Are you a fortune teller? Is your name Nostradamus? Or are you one of those wannabe fortune tellers that said MO wouldn't even last a year? My guess is the latter...
He sure isnt wasting pixels.. can barelly read the text. Interesting map anyways. Doesn't quite appeal to me aesthetically thou and the planning of it is questionable.
I mean, I can understand how they will patch in Herabalter, passage to it is currently closed off by gates near GK if I recall correctly. But Lyria? The lower parts of Myrland are surrounded by water, how will new landpiece be connected? Just magically popup Atlantis style from underwater? That's what I meant by it being not the most optimal planning.
Lastly, the "Seafall" by tindrem. We can see that alll of the seas are connected, so how can there be a seafall, shouldn't the sea water level be equal everywhere? Unless I am missing something, it looks like world of Nave got some unique physics (wouldn't be the first time thou, considering flying pigs.. :P)

I won't say never, but the signs all point to a population that is too low for additional landmass to be feasible at this point.
Keeping in mind that SVs resources are already spread thinly with just a handful of developers, I can't see why they'd want to give themselves a huge amount of work to do when their hands are already full with the existing content which is far from finished. Add to the fact that it would further dilute the population and you have what amounts to a bad idea. They're better off tightening up what they've got and increasing the population by working on some sandbox stuff first.

I understand what you are trying to say here, it would be what any player who loves a game and is willing to put up with it would say. I got nothing against a person who is willing to spend his or her own time willing to wait for something to happen, it is their time and their life.
But for the rest of the people what they are thinking is, "CMON! ITS BEEN MORE THAN A FREAKING YEAR SINCE THIS GAME WAS RELEASED SO STOP TELLING ME THIS BROKEN GAME HAS GOT POTENTIAL."
Those were the exact words a colleague of mine, who is a hardcore sandbox lover (still plays UO), used when he read bout the nodeline fixes. Had to put that in CAPS since he was being quite loud in making his comment known.
Nodeline "fixes" isnt some content patch that you should link to the second coming of MO. It is a basic aspect of any game to have a functional world, especially one which markets itself as being "seamless". To fix a core aspect of this game that should have been sorted out in alpha phase isnt some big achievement, to be very honest. It just goes to show that SV has been charging people top dollar for a game thats in alpha/beta stage.
And like my bud said, its been more than a freaking year since this game was "released". So save your comments bout AI and GUI for AFTER they get fixed. The " When it will be fixed " phrase has been so overused by the MO fanboy brigade that someone could make a demotivational picture of Henrick flashing a smile and shooting out some finger pistols, and stick this meme below it and it still wouldnt be funny.
So, dont get ahead of yourself and start building castles in the sky before AI, GUI and the myriad of bugs are fixed before you start telling others to stop being realistic and start believing in what has been one of the worst games ever to hit the market.

You are too smart for people to understand I think. I agree with you %100. People are doing cartwheels and throwing prase at SV for finally fixing a CORE system in the game. A nodeline proble should of been sorted pre release. People were exoploding at nodelines. A game touted as SEAMLESS should not have problems like this, this long after release. UO had better nodelines in the 90's.
I would like to applaud the intern they used to fix it. I just do not think anyone at SV really did it. It has been a problem this long. And then Henrik says hey we did some testing over the weeknd and hey its fixed. I smell intern.
I would not applaud SV for fixing something that should of not been a problem. This is not tee ball for mentally handicapped people were everyone gets to play and win. It is a product people are paying for. Hell since release it is in the feature list SEAMLESS world.

You can try to say that this should have been fixed already etc, but the fact is, SV IS a small company. They have like 10 people working on it. And it´s not easy to sort all bugs out as they are few people working on it. But to be this small, and to still have been putting out content and fixing bugs, shows that there actually is some skills over at SV office. If you compare to Aventurine, that barely speaks to it´s community, 2.0 was suppose to be realeased all the time this year, but has now been set to be released in the second quater of 2012, at least SV are doing SOMETHING compared to that lame ass company, and they have 5 times as many employees as SV have, and still manage to do absolutley NOTHING. Except scaring new players away when they see how much they have to grind in the game to be able to compete.
And that people still has played MO even though there been some annoying bugs out there, goes to show that some people see a wonderfull and unique game underneath. And you can try to pull the "it should have been done over a year ago, so it don´t count"-card, but the fact is it has been done now. No, it wasn´t a patch, but it was a gamebraking bug, that has now been taken care of. People that play the game loves it even more now. So only you "realists" out there, try to say that it doesn´t matter cause it should have been done already. Get over yourselves. It has been done NOW, and people that actually play the game NOW, loves it. And new players that try it out NOW, won´t at least be irritated on the fact that they get stuck on nodelines any more. And it was THE biggest bug/issue that SV had, and it´s now taken cared of. A year after the release. The only one that cares are you "realists". That no matter what SV does. It´s wrong. It´s to late, to ugly, to hard, to easy etcetc. Old players love it, and new players won´t be pissed about it. You "realists" have to try to swallow this tough pill that they fixed it and go on with your lives after the nodeline bug has been solved. But don´t worry, SV still has some other bugs that need to be fixed, so I think you guys can relax. And yeah, MO is the only MMO company that has bugs in it. Promise...

No one cares how big a company is. It's about deliving the product you sell. For example, this company STILL has not delivered the functional CDs purchased over 2 years ago by many people. The nodelines were another example. Is it good that it is now working better, of course, but that doesn't give a free pass for charging people all this time for what you ADMIT was a gamebreaking bug.
But to be this small, and to still have been putting out content and fixing bugs, shows that there actually is some skills over at SV office. Couldn't care less about Aventurine. If they are liars or as incompetent as the SV developers have been proven then they deserve to fail as well. No matter if they are small, medium or large.
And that people still has played MO even though there been some annoying bugs out there, goes to show that some people see a wonderfull and unique game underneath.
I think the fact that at a MINIMUM 9 out of 10 (probably double that) players who have tried Mortal Online quit playing... I think THAT says something about the game.
And you can try to pull the "it should have been done over a year ago, so it don´t count"-card, but the fact is it has been done now. No I would say the vast majority of people who quit the broken game probably cared.

There are bugs and then there is Mortal Online. It really is in a class by itself. I'll tell you what. When you actually get a fully functional game which includes real AI, functional UI, Tindrem, all the magic schools (working), Epic Creatures, you know... all the stuff promised at release a year and a half ago... then you can come back and say you now have a release worthy game. Then what you can do is go back to the House of Commons chats and list all the other items which Henrik promised but arent in the game yet (taverns, hot/cold system, writable paper, etc...)
Until then, fixing one issue.. is just that.. one less of many that plague the game.

So any feedback on that patch? Did any new problems surfaced?
Last night, about 10 of us were fighting on the north west side of Bakti, right where the well known node line is. But for a VERY large area everyone inside was immortal. no damage would register though it would say: you hit, you are hit, and so on. about 10 of us standing there hitting one another and no damage. I know that this has happened before the fix, so I'm not sure if the problem was made worse or more common by the server patch, but there are certainly bad stuff going on with the node lines still.

See, I will put it in simple words that you will understand.
If you use tupperware as building blocks in your skyscraper's foundation, the building will never get built even if you fortify the upper floors with titanium alloy. Here, Titanium Alloy being the new fluff/system that runs through Henrick's mind; Building/skyscraper being the dream that was to be Mortal Online; Foundation being the game code and Tupperware being plastic containers that are microwave safe.
The game code that SV have written is very, very broken. Its like a reeking pile of crap that stinks no matter how many car fresheners you hang around it. Its just horrible.
That being the reason, you see so many bugs in MO, like the one that got "solved" - nodeline messup being one of them. But not only that, bugs dont get squashed, everytime SV patches the game some new bug arises OR an OLD bug will come back from the grave. If you are a MO player then you will know how many times "solved" bugs have been reintroduced into the game. All of this happens because the base code that this game runs on is broken. Only if SV rewrite the game from scratch will this game have a future with the larger, less tolerant to BS, less fanatical playerbase.
You can try to say that this should have been fixed already etc, but the fact is, SV IS a small company. They have like 10 people working on it. And it´s not easy to sort all bugs out as they are few people working on it.
How is that anyone's fault who pays / paid / might pay for this game?
Nobody wearing a mask put a chain around this man Henrick's leg and asked him to code a game with less than 10 people or would release poison gas into Henrick's bathroom. There are so many things I can reply with for your "Small team, show mercy" comment but no dead horse deserves this much beating, not even the supersized MO horses that can breed using a revolutionary genetic system...oh wait!
That no matter what SV does. It´s wrong. It´s to late, to ugly, to hard, to easy etcetc.
This is the grave that SV dug for itself. Now they have to lay down in it. The boat that was MO has sailed and the large playerbase that could have powered this game has departed elsewhere. Only the most hardcore people pay for MO now along with the odd dreamer who hopes for a better game. But as it stands, with the publicity this game has gotten it would not only take fixing all the bugs and implementing all the missing systems to save it but a miracle, some divine intervention and lots and lots of paid shills who can also write fixed reviews.
I again ask you, to stop building your castles in the air with tupperware. Wait for sometime to see if the next few patches dont bring back this bug and then wait some more to have the rest of the GUI / AI / bugs / missing content fixed or implemented before you go back into defensive fanboy formation. Or you will just look stupid when SV is still hasnt added Tindrem(same one from launch) on December 2012. I mean, after all, its not possible that a gaming company would take more than one and a half year to fix a bug that should have been sorted out in alpha stage and some people would be willing to pay for a game this company makes, right?

It is actually a great indictator of how badly the game is doing.

Promise...

Just one more reason i dislike twitter
