EU people playing on US server

Hello guys.
Iam feeling troubled. I've just heard from my guild that the server they are playing on is US based (Eastcoast servers) while 90% of our clan is EU. I told them all the disadvantages i could know if ranging from these
-Due to the time difference we will not be able to raid sufficiently because if we recruit americans either they must raid in the morning or we must raid at midnight.
-The above will also result with problems in guildevents schedule-wise.
-Higher latency
-Majority of the time we will be playing at night (ingame server weather)
-When we play alone we will rarely meet someone. Members of my clan are telling me that they see people all the time. But in my opinion that's because the game just got released and alot of people took free from their work so they can play the game non-stop. This will wear out eventually.
-Harder to find people for instances when playing in the EU time
-Longer queue times when queueing for warfronts
Their motivation:
US people are better then EU. I find this absurd as for example SC2. They got the best Zerg player and EU got the best Protoss player.
World of Warcraft: Both have damn good players who says who is better? Only americans about themselves and Europeans about themselves too. So let's be neutral no one is better then the other.
I don't understand it as both leaders are from the EU too.
There might be more problems, but as of this moment i don't know any others. So i want to know? What is your opinion about this matter?

There are more english speakers on the US servers so if latency is not bad then i would rather play on a US server. Btw what has starcraft got to do with anything related to swtor?
So basically your guild leader is an Uncle Tom? I'd look into a new guild if I were you, I would find a move like that personally offensive.
I know how you feel my best gaming friend is in the UK and i'm in the US and them time zones can really suck.
It's stupid for anyone to say either one of us has better players and they need to get over themselfs.
Yeah but the stupid thing is.. We are mostly all EU, including the leaders. I think the US people should play on the EU server because they are by far the minority in our clan.
And the reason iam so bummed with this is because i've been playing with them for like 7-8 years long if iam correctly.
I play US servers because they tend to not die as fast and because little non English speaking communities take over the EU servers so it becomes a pain trying to group. My ping is only 100 which is very playable for an MMO and I'm from the UK so I'm happy with that.
The only problem will be the timezone difference when the games population dies down.
If you manage to meet halfway it's only 3 hours for both sides. If it just doesn't work, but it's still less then a week into the game, you might consider splitting
