RYL: Path of the Emperor is a beautifully rendered MMORPG, creating increasingly difficult and challenging game play and will excite multiplayer online game fans. RYL: Path of the Emperor is a persistent universe or role-playing game (RPG). In the game, players assume the role of a Warrior, Cleric, Wizard, or Thief (over 20 classes) and explore the many beautiful and exotic locations within the game where they meet other players, complete quests, fight monsters and other players. Massively multiplayer online games are computer games in which thousands of players can play simultaneously through the Internet. In 2003, 88 million people played online games worldwide, a number that is expected to grow to at least 198 million by 2008.

"Instead of monotonous individual games, players can now interact with hundreds or thousands of other players from all over the world and undertake the adventure of a lifetime together," said Kevin Donovan, President Planetwide Games. "The graphics and smoothness of gameplay is among the best in the world, developed over 5 years with over $30 million invested in development costs."

RYL: Path of the Emperor also offers hundreds quests within each game, plus advanced real time 3D and environment effects give players the realistic feel of an amazing fantasy world. Maximum game resolution has been increased from the typical 800x600 pixel resolution to 1600x1200 to enhance the experience of the lushly rendered graphical landscapes.

Players start off at Level One, with minimal skills and abilities, but over time they gain experience points, which allows them to advance to Level Two, and beyond. As each level opens up, the player can find new and more interesting abilities and can survive in battles against more interesting monsters. This level advancement is the incentive that makes players continually play the game and maintain their accounts for months or years.

PWG has shown that they ARE concerned with their coustomer satisfaction and I would encourage all to give it a try.

There are 2 servers for regular play and the tournament server here's the breakdown:

IVERIA this is where the old established players battle monsters and each other. This is not the place for the faint of heart. This is a ruthless environment where only the experienced player with high level characters can survive.

AZREAL This server is for the beginner and the guilds and rivalries are less developed and this is where to learn the nuances of game play and character development.

TOURNAMENT This is where you can compete for a free all expense paid trip to Las Vegas as a finalist and maybe win a Million buck?

So the game has something for every level and is still developing more quests and weapons on a regular basis to insure continued interest of the players.

hey edward u caould also buy the game at some stores like best buy, walmart or gamespot.....if um not mistake 14 days free trial on the site is now close...but im not sure if their surveys to get free week game trial is still working

The game is plagued with terrible lag and when they stage events or when guilds battle it becomes so bad you can barely move.

Since the beta players are allowed to constantly steal fame and fame is no longer gained by quests the new paying player will never be able to build a guild fortress or form a guild of more than 20 players insuring the old established players and guilds will always dominate although they got to their position for free.LIE "RYL: Path of the Emperor also offers hundreds quests within each game"
There are less than 60 and that many are only available if you play different Races on 2 different servers.I also find it rather convienient for the inept staff that none of the executives can be contacted as is the case with honest corporations. This insures that the management can't be made aware of the terrible job of running the game is being done. Either the staff is preventing them from kowning the details of their impending filure or it shields them from criminal charges. Either way it ain't the big boys who will pay in the end they will get their bonuses and the staff will get their pink slips.

well all i know is that RYL is good specially the combat system which the best among all mmorpgs....though sometimes it has lags, but still developers always try to upgrade the game...if they didnt the tournament wont be as good as it is now...

I dont think the game is what spafon say it is....well all games have some sort of detractors right??
i think the game is good and though its got some lag problems (dont all games goes through that phase??) it is continually being improved much to our delight. ::::02::
