    Asheron's Call ( http://ac.turbine.com/ ) .

The world felt open and alive, the combat had that 'heroic' quality to it, the quests and monthly content was humorous and engaging, the devs were awesome to interact with, and the level of personalization through skills and gear was just right for me. Out of all of the themepark style MMOs I have played, that one held my attention and kept me entertained the most.

Probably the game I played the most was Tibia, it was just so cool, I loved it. It didn't even have crafting but it was lots of fun. Probably my first mmo. I also liked guildwars.

FFXI was fun for a long time.

LOTRO , but as any themepark ... you eat until you are stuffed. And than you are so sick you can not touch it anymore.

I have full expansion I bought with (free) points. That i dont even consider playing.

Wizard101 - Despite it being a kid mmo it is actual more complex and has more features then many other mmos.

LOTRO - Lifetime account or it probably wouldn't be on my list.  Not a bad overall just a lot of the same old shit.

While Ragnarok Online was my first MMO, and WoW was the one I stuck to consecutively the longest, I think my heart belongs to EQ2 when asked this question.

Mostly because of the different methods of advancement and the numerous diversions.

Hmm tough question as I am really fed up with themeparks (yes I admit I played them for quite long time) and none of them feels appealing.

Guess AC or Vanguard (if it would NOT be so screwed and bugged on release - today no updates, people + this rmt officall thing kinda put me off).

Thing is as time pass, themeparks bore me faster and faster.

Rift - I got box + 30 days of gameplay totally FREE and I played like 4 days maybe.

Swtor - 3 days of beta and I could not stomach it anymore (and I had over 6 months of break from any mmorpg's / themeparks).

Seriously I don't think any 'on rails' + LFG queuing gameplay in instances can interest me again.

I had my share of those for few years and nah, I learned it is pointless to try again.

Just give me good sandobx or sandpark. (not indie or old pls)

VG I suppose although I barely even played it.  I made a conscious decision to not spend my time on it because I knew it was dying and I would just be disappointed.

    ... pre CU SWG :D

I wouldn't call myself a true sandbox fan (I like any good games) but I did love SWG and I'm looking forward to AA. My favorite themepark game would hands down be FFXI.

looks like it will be ArcheAge (no current game good enough for me, but I enjoyed some of the WoW PvP).

I've enjoyed a few games for being games. WoW and EQ2 both were enjoyable at the time.

I like LotRO at the moment for what it is.

CoH has had the most subbed months out of me, but that's all but ended after their failed F2P conversion.

I actually like AoC and DCUO for what they are.

Looking forward to Guild Wars 2, until a real sandy box of a sand box game comes along.

I used to play MMOs like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

    Hellgate Global. :)

On the other hand I don't know if you consider it as an MMO, but I enjoy LoL too.

Fallen Earth even though it's mostly a sandpark but still not a sandbox game.

eq2 still one of the best MMORPGs for sheer amount of content out there.
