The ArcheAge team has filmed the log in video that players participating in the Korean closed beta see. Use your imagination and pretend it's YOU! Enjoy!
This looks eerily similar to the Aion pre-release vids that were shown. The Korean market has failed over and over to capture the western gamers, it's not necessarily been the graphics that have kept me away it has been the insane grind - maybe people in Korea have time to play a game 15 hours a day but I sure don't!

Well atleast i am not the only one who gets AION deja vu from videos;)
How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release?
ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6. US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian. Subs will be so low there is no need for more Snoocky-How many servers? The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...
Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.
It's CryEngine 3 so graphics are obviously better than Skyrim, however what worries me is that it will have standard combat and grind which would pretty much overshadow any new interesting features thegame is supposed to have. Still, it's up to either this or GW or TSW to save the MMO world..

It's a good job then the game is nothing like Aion.

You telling me western gamers don't play world of warcraft for 15 hours a day?

I couldn't quite make out the text in the login screen proper, but the first bit is just a age restriction warning. Apparently you have to be 15+ to play this in Korea right now.
Umm yeah still reminds me of AION..but wait is that bad thing? Aion is gorgeous.

The textures in Aion are terrible if you look into the distance it looks like a picture, as you can see archeage doesn't suffer from bad textures the mountains in the distance look real. Explain to me how it looks like Aion or does your brain just think this because both games are korean?

Maybe because they are both using the same engine.. yes textures are improved no doubt. But to me Aion is still a very nice looking game.

I don't really know about the combat. However in CBT4 on the end of the first day the average character levels were 12-18. Also note that the beta was limited and is not open 24/7.
