Hi,
I'm currently looking for a realistic game in terms of combat at atmosphere. Would like pinpoint targeting regarding combat. Atmosphere should have day/night cycles with all seasons. Rain should make the ground wet (harder to maneuver), snow should accumulate, wind should blow you around.
Any ideas, please advise.

sorry friend i cannot help you there, but i am interested to see if you can find one. i would like to give it a try myself.
Justice should deal harshly with violence and deal appropriately with murderers?
Mother nature should wipe out your home and village from time to time?
You should accumulate wounds and slowly lose battle effectiveness?
Instant death criticals?
Be careful what you ask for with "realistic"--too much realism makes a pretty poor game to play.
Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.
Realistic? Try Mortal Online. It is for the most part pretty realistic...at least in the terms you are speaking of. Get in with a guild though! Do not just install the game and go to town. Since it is aimed at being so realistic, it can be very hard to pick up on. A guild can help you along the way. Personally not my kind of game though, I am more of a theme park MMO player.
Argh
MO is the only mmo thats has these features?
I don't think it has those features.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
Darkfall is pretty realistic.
virtual worlds interest me as well, but there doesn't appear to be any interest in making them.
Some conceits are necessary in a game world though, atleast for me.
I hear it's shockingly realistic but watch out... that permadeath is a bitch!

I know it won't mean much, but I found Wurm Online to be the most realistic game ever. Have to dig every inch out of the ground, procedurally craft things using very good logic, and getting f'd up in combat leaves you wounded a long time... plus hunger/thirst and all that. The game's combat is terrible, and the models looks like ass, but the world itself was pretty enough on high settings, as well as 'charming'.
If overall visuals and combat input is what matters though, I doubt there is a game with "real" realism to come out. Imagine a game where swift assbeatings force a heavy recovery state, or the millions of animations to go with all craft procedures... though, I'm sure none of those things sound at all pleasing to the OP and most posters here, but that's what I call "realism". Not the current battle for CoD to out-do itself visually.

Thanks, checked out WURM and it does look interesting. What about different levels of craftable items (so that not everyone making an axe are the same) the better you are at something, the better the item is. Any ideas?
One thing that drive me nuts is what I make something and the person next to me makes the exact same thing.
