in Rohan: Blood Feud

just started playing rohan and the text is garbled, can anyone tell me why?

    You might check the official forums.  One possible reason for garbled text is that your computer may not have the typefont used by the game.  That typefont may also be a different language typefont.

    I haven't looked at the game in a long time so take my words with a grain of salt.

     Havent played this one in some time, last time i played alot of the pop ups messages were not in english
