I think they are messed up too, but I do agree that Psychiatrists prescribe too many drugs. People are lazy and want a pill to make them happy and fix their lives. Well guess what, eating right, exercising and changing your environment will do that. Not in all cases of course but I think sometimes people would benefit more from getting a life than taking a pill.

How about your read the Old Testament for any longer then 5 mintues. The whole book is just the Jews slaughtering the people of palestine and commendments full of God telling the Jews to smite the unbelievers. Most of it is braging how much they made blood run down the streets of the pagens cities.

I'm not Catholic or Jewish, I wasnt trying to promote the Jewish religion. In fact, I felt like googling the Jewish religion just to say ALL religions have a bad reputation with gore. As for the Old Testament, once again, I'm not Jewish or Catholic. I doubt you've read any other holy books than the one belonging to your religion. And I knew that Jews were responsible for death, I couldn't think of a specific instance. The Old Testament is a pretty vague way of pointing things out, since the Crusades were pretty specific compared to that.

-We are sick of being force-fed his relationship with Katie Holmes which, if it isnt the publicity hoax it appears to be, is a pathetic, juvenile, attention mongering display. Toms obvious control of his Stepford-Wife-To-Be is frightening.
-We do not want to watch his out of control yet suspiciously manipulative antics nor listen to his condescending, holier-than-thou judgments. This man cannot even articulate a coherent sentence. He should stick to reading movie scripts.
It is revealing that the most compelling character Tom Cruise has ever portrayed is Frank TJ Mackay from Magnolia, a control-freak with a pathological need to assert his obsession over not just those around him, but the public as well, by exploiting his access to public media. Apparently Mr. Cruise was playing himself.
Perhaps he views the aliens he battles in War of the worlds as a metaphor for the aliens he and his Scientology friends believe inhabit we humans. Relax Tom, its just a movie. A movie we will not be paying to see.

Yes, the Catholic Church has one of the most disgusting history records ever.
Look at the Crusades. Look at all the scientists murdered for trying to find a root to our beginning without seeking a "god".
Scientology may kill people, but I doubt they have near the same death toll the Catholic Church has.
Hell, look at Muslim's record too. Muslim religion has alot of gore and fighting. In fact, to be honest, the Jewish religion is the only one that I can't think of having a history of blood to promote their religion.

It would be nice to see a graph of the "religious body count" of the last 2000 years, that would probably put this in perspective.

How about your read the Old Testament for any longer then 5 mintues. The whole book is just the Jews slaughtering the people of palestine and commendments full of God telling the Jews to smite the unbelievers. Most of it is braging how much they made blood run down the streets of the pagens cities.

Eviedence now suggests that the Crusades were one of the only things that saved europe against the Muslim aggression at the time. Read up, the crusades are started because of aggression of the Moors in Spain and the Turks fighting the Byzantines(Greeks). The Emperor of Byzantines asked the Pope for help for the simple reason that they were being overrun by islam. If the Crusades never happened, Constantinople might have well fell in the 12th century instead of the 15th century. Islam has always been a relgion of violence, as the founder, Mohammed was a great warlord. Jesus never advocated violence in any form. Later groups, whether it be the tradiation protestants groups (Never let anyone tell you that it was only the Catholics. Wonderful holy men of Henry's relgion killed millions of Scots and Irish) in europe or the Catholic Church advocated that in some points.

I'm not Catholic or Jewish, I wasnt trying to promote the Jewish religion. In fact, I felt like googling the Jewish religion just to say ALL religions have a bad reputation with gore.
As for the Old Testament, once again, I'm not Jewish or Catholic. I doubt you've read any other holy books than the one belonging to your religion.
And I knew that Jews were responsible for death, I couldn't think of a specific instance. The Old Testament is a pretty vague way of pointing things out, since the Crusades were pretty specific compared to that.
And in conclusion, all you did with that sentence was further prove my point that Scientology spilling blood is NOTHING compared to what other major religions have done. I thank you for that!
