The hit spamming that was stopped about three weeks ago has started again, with some wild variances in hit counts occurring once more. On Thursday, RIFT gained well over 20K hits, which was many, many times more than what it recieved the day before or after, and didn't appear to match the actual activity on that part of the site.
Similarly, FFXIV has gained over 15K hits in 8 hours, which again does not seem to match actual activity for the title on this site.

Yesterday ended with Darkfall having 30,000 hits, which is unbelieveable given the lack of overt traffic to that part of this site.
Today, Darkfall already has over 24,000 hits. By comparison, this dwarfs the numbers of SWTOR which currently has almost 5,000.
Someone is manipulating the hit counter on the site again.

Covert viral marketing is a terrible thing isn't it.
StarVault and Mortal Online are a prime example of this too. A terrible game kept barely alive by a covert viral marketing scheme, as plainly admitted by the CEO in his financial reports. It too gets high hit rates on this site, yet has barely a couple of hundred people playing. You have to wonder why.
Perhaps the OP should investigate this too?
