So yesterday I found out that I’ve either been playing SWTOR in my sleep or I have an evil (or really lucky) twin somewhere in the world who’s been playing the game unbeknownst to me. You see, I received this little email from EA/Bioware.

I got the mails as well.
I had that little ray of hope that maybe an invite was coming, and the mails had been sent out in the wrong order. However, we now know that wasn't the case.
Patiently waiting, always.

And it has already been posted a zillion times on the SWTOR forums that it was a mistake.

Incorrect, numerous individuals did not receive the mails, or only received the pre-order promo mail.
Check the Dev Tracker to ensure you have accurate info. They quite clearly state that the emails were sent in error to only a portion of the mailing list, not everyone.

I only got the pre order one and just deleted it where i have already pre ordered and redeemed my code day 1. It is amazing that people didnt realize it was a mistake and had to whine for hrs about it though.
I'm testing too, and I also have a second forum account, I got it on both.
Come to think of it I think I opted out of email updates from TOR as I do with all games, sites, etc...

I got them and thought they were phishing spam. You know, like all of those ones from "Blizarde" telling you your account in under investigation. Ya, I deleted them and didn't think about them until every gaming news feed in the world popped the "story".
