Hi!
I come here because TERA Online is goign to be shipped with Chronoscrolls system taht is similar to PLEX from EVE.
I wonder how does that system look from players perspective.
Do many peple buy PLEX do many people sell plex?
Did it influence goldfarmers/goldspammers?
Do you think it is serving the game for good or bad rather?
Any other thoughts?
btw. Are there many games with similar solutions? Would love to know their names of you know any.

So far as I know, no other game uses the PLEX system. The last figure I heard was that ~25% of EVE accounts are supported by PLEX, which equates to a monthly spend by PLEX-selling players of the order of $180,000, which would presumably have otherwise have been spent with gold-farmers but instead goes to supporting the game and increasing the playerbase.
I think that the PLEX system is a strongly positive element.
