So I'd like to know more about Isengard, especially since it does appear as though there just may be a separate map for the Gap of Rohan. Unless that new flag is just marking that the gap is on the other side of the river? or is it the area in the S of Dunland, N of the river?
Here is the leaked map of Dunland, and after, a new map released with their announcement:

Nifty pics, but those were leaked weeks ago...looking for a Gap of Rohan map if it exists and other info!
I finally got it right and the Gap of rohan map isn't in releaseable form yet.

So, is it all small as the prophets of Doom are saying?
Its in between Moria and Mirkwood, personally I think they should have delayed it a bit and merged it with Update 5, but they seem adament about getting it out next month.
It's still only 300 quests, as opposed to Moria's 600.
Having a big map (maybe) doesn't mean anything if there is nothing to do on it...
R.I.P. City of Heroes and my 17 characters there
It's still only 300 quests, as opposed to Moria's 600.
600 quests says the guy who clearly has no idea how much quests moria holds..moria doesnt hold 600 quests, only 350.
And more quests will be added in later updates to RoI to..so well see..

Responding to the screenshot above, I thought Isen was surrounded mostly by forest no mountain? At least in the books it is that.

It depends "when" in the story you get there. Remember, Saruman does cut down all the trees around Orthanc.
There is a dam though I don't remember if it is part of a mountain or not.

Ah yea, very true.

Orthanc was carved from a real juttting rock in the vale by the Men of Numenor, long ago. It is said to be shaped from the same stone with master architecture, basically.
I'm in the beta, and to confirm timeline, the trees have been cut. It is prior to the first battle of the Isen.
They are all across the region of Nan Curunir, which is tiny compared to others, but Orthanc makes up for it, in my opinion (the vale is.. I'd guess... two and a half Brees' -from-north-gate-to-south-wall wide and long, on top. Note that that is a very rough estimate... Beneath, I am unsure. The top is the only thing shown by the main region map, though, I'd guess).
Gap of Rohan and Dunland are both OK sized, but Dunland dwarfs the former. Gap of Rohan is about two times the size of Nan Curunir, I'd guess, wide, on a map. Dunland, hard to say. Two and a half times the Gap maybe?
lol, oops, sorry that should be "dam"
