General: Star Legends Beta On Android Market - Update on iOS Delay

Spacetime Studios has made the announcement that Star Legends, their follow up to Pocket Legends, has now seen its Beta released on the Android Market. Meanwhile, they provide an update on the delay behind Apple getting on board with the Star Legends Beta in their App Store.

Spacetime Studios is pleased to announce the expansion of the Beta Test of our latest game, the sci-fi epic MMO Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles by making the app available on the Android Market. We invite any interested player to download and play on their Android powered device running OS 2.0 or above.

Please keep in mind that the product is still Beta. As such it is a work in progress. You may run into bugs or other issues and the beta version does not fully represent what will be in the launch version.

Read more about Star Legends at the Official Spacetime Studios Website.

That is essentially just the 'ID' number of your phone so you can be uniquely identified online.

If you've got an Android device, SAgoogleTAN already has your info. This little permission won't hurt you.

Enjoyed PL for a mmobile game it's not bad running a few dungeons.

Interested to see if SL can improve:

    1. Story

    2. PvP

    3. Combat/UI/Builds

    4. Space ships addition or not at a future date?

Would like to see substantial improvements over PL, so it feels like a unique game and not a reskin.

RE: Phone ID is used to implement the termination clauses in the eula if an end-user breaks them, it's useful option for the devs to ban ppl that should be banned. : )

played pocket legends for a while now, just checked out Star Legends and really enjoyed it.  Funny how overlooked these games are then again I think theyre breaking new grounds with the mobile MMO market.

I gave it a shot this morning and found it rather difficult to control.

Quite often my toon would target the monster, begin shooting while moving, and then stand there staring at the monster.

I think it would work well with a game pad, but not so sure its ideal for a touch screen device.

I trust google with that info, not a random 3rd party developer with commercial interest.

Also to those claiming it's just an ID string  - read the docs, that permission set allows them to see your  IMEI and actual phone number, and when you are in a call - the actual number of whomever you are calling. There is absolutely no reason for them [or any APP that isn't a replacement dialer or somesuch] to request that.
