Some Reason Rift is listed as F2P?

Can someone explain why Rift is listed in the Free to Play section on the right side of the homepage? A free trial hardly make sit free to play. MMORPG.com please correct this.

    it is free to play. It is free to download and look at the shortcut on your screen. It is $15 or so to log in. Don't you know what free to play means?*

     Yes and that thread is no longer around it was just yesterday with like 40 replies.
