So they just announced Halo 4 to be released during the holiday season of 2012. What do you think?

Forerunners are the new antagonist. The planet Master Chief and Cortana drifted to is a Shield World ... a Dyson sphere: a hollow planet rotating around the star (white dwarf, Earth-sized) inside of it. This is a surviving colony of Forerunners that are perhaps living peacefully (until now) since the previous Halo Array activation.
