ancient account in to free account?

I heard somewhere you can transfer your ancient account as free account? I got account thats been cancelled since 01.

newly created accounts are free when using the free trial thingy
Check your old account i logged into mine and had the option to convert it over to the free trial.
One thing though i never upgraded my account to notum wars or any other expansion, and it hadn't been active for a few years.
