EA Press Event is on now, so we'll see if there's a release date. SWTOR just started.

i find it funny that they didnt show the new trailer during the press confernce but showed the the origin.com exclusive trailer they made the uses footage from all 3 lol.
Yeah, great. DCUO had some super-epic Blur-made cinematic intros, too. Too bad that doesn't translate into anything at all about the game.
There will be more information released this week. Look at the bright side, if you didn't enjoy the cinematic, at least you won't have to wait until Fan Friday to see it lol.

I generally don't like the CGI stuff much - I mean it's not the 'game' and a hot cinematic can still come from a bad game (like WAR)
But this....just....WOW!
The guy had 2 troopers and 2 master jedi surrounding him on a ship filled with Republic soldiers, somehow I don't think they were worried that much that he was a danger to them or run the risk of escaping

Game relevant or not, that was hell of a great cinematic.
Only part missing was the release date on the final screen.....

And you guys never seem to dissapoint.
Your comments are unwarrented and you know it. This was just the third cgi trailer for the game and nothing more. If anything, this brings more attention to the whole SW franchise in wanting a new movie written by Bioware and made by BLUR. There's another 3 days to E3 that will show actual gameplay footage for all the see.
Kekeke... a bit very cliche-ish, but otherwise cool. It makes me a bit cringe thinking how every story might be so predictable. Oh and I didn't know Star Wars now has Redshirts too! XD
EDIT: I think it's a bit embarassing for the Jedi, that one of their greatest senses some coming darkness just 10 seconds before a massive fleet arrives! Not really useful, if they can't forsee things a whee bit better, innit?
Why do the Jedi always fail when push comes to shove? Emperor Palpatine and some other Sith were able to forsee years and decades ahead and all the Jedi muster is forsee the next 10 seconds? Sheesh. Maybe I'll yet overthink my faction decision. ^^()

That was truly phenomenal. I think I almost enjoyed that trailer more than the three prequel films combined.

lol, I didn't dislike the movies as much as others do. Especially #3. I thought that was well done, except Yoda hopping around made me laugh lol. I just thought 4-6 were classic :-)

Enjoyed that, deceived and Hope were better but too many cliches appearing in TOR. Even the interior of the cowboys ship was too similar to the Millenium Falcon. It registered with me as an interior from SWGs POBs. The Ebon Hawk was very well made and almost unique by comparison.
I realise the need to include recognisable SW elements but to blatanly rip off the established material is telling me to stay away from this game.
Oh and the cowboy smuggler, yeah not SW but not original. Why not give him a horse, a cantina, some chewing tobacco and spurs and be done with it.
EDIT: Waiting for more PVP details, that is claimed to be something special.
Sadly Im(or was) actually looking forward to SWTOR since I really enjoyed both kotors, but this really makes me angry to see BW selling their souls to get the money back:/
I really am not going to support the road BW took with TOR... I had the same feeling about DA II .. for which they already apologised
and go ahead flame me to hell and tell me not to play it etc..because when you're country is drowning in corruption and spoiled oligarchy you just move elsewhere, you do not start demostrations..

Damn, with cinematic movies like that one, I think I'll be playing this game even if it's horrible lol That is one badass video.
