Do you think Bioware would be ok with someone updating there...

Neverwinter Nights 1 toolset? (gfx, options, etc.) I still think that toolset has tons of potential.

    No chance in hell. For all practical purposes NWN2 and it's toolset (from Obsidian) is the update - and that one is abandoned as well by now.

    Also, the rights to the games are not with the developers but are Ataris. Atari would have to fund any new work on these toolsets and in my opinion there's not a single chance Atari would pay money to a developer owned and run by EA.

    I get the feeling he wasn't necessarily talking about an official update.

    And I don't think BioWare would care. Atari, though, probably would.

    Atari is really hurting for funds thus the incomplete games being pushed out as well as the sale of their MMO business to Perfect World.

    I have to say, NWN2 toolset is hardly that (completely non-user friendly), but you dont have to take my word for it,  just check Bioware and NWN vault forums.
