Mocam in MMORPGs?

For those of you who do not know, Mocam is a very new "engine" that allows extremely realistic facial expressions/emotions using real actors' faces. It is becoming popular in single-player gaming very quickly and is being used by developers to help make their characters come to life in games such as Assassins Creed: Revelations.  If you've played L.A. Noire, you've probably seen it and said something like "Wait, haven't I seen that person somewhere?". I too am amazed by the new technology in gaming and was thinking if it was ever possible to implement into MMOs? Anyone else think this would be a cool thing? (P.S. If you haven't seen this beast yet, check it out on youtube!)

Intersting single-player feature. Are there many MMOs, though, where you sit and watch an NPC talk? The only one I can think of is AoC, and even then I think most people tend to click past it.

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Vanguard's diplomacy system is another example of a great way this tech could be leveraged in an MMO (and unlike quest-speak, it's something you actually want to sit there and play through.)

You won't see it for a while, though.  MMORPG graphics tech always lags behind core singleplayer games by a pretty sizable margin.

It sucks that it is that way though. MMOs need to catch up!
