What tv show scared you as kid and which reality based show did you like the most 80-90's

Since there are plenty of people here in their 30's I thought to make this thread in fun.

So what show scared you as a kid or gave you nightmares, you could of had a hard time sleeping or whatever.

For me it was Unsolved Mysteries, the one hosted by Robert Stack from 1987-90's.

Episodes like this made it hard to fall asleep after watching them, we watched them and had to go to bed after for school but man this show gave me the creeps. One particular episode I remember that scared the hell out me, I was maybe 11 at the time, but I watched it over my grandmas house cause I spent the weekend there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn_Vc61lz3M

My favorite reality based show was Rescue 911, if you remember watching this then I hope it brought back some good memories. Opening introduction  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHXc9lhMcKg  and a episode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLUKwQea8TM&feature=watch_response_rev

Haha I remember watching some those reruns.  What was your favorite show? Mine was for reality Rescue 911 but for a comedy tv show MASH was always my fav.

When I saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a kid, the Child Catcher scared me to no end.  I used to have nightmares about this guy.

as real vampires, were in a constant state of that, seeing that a good portion of our body would feel the lack of blood it does make sense that we would feel the constant need to get blood from an outside source to feel reasonably normal. Plus with that lack on a philosophical jump of logic we could say that any blood that we ingested would be immediately drawn into our body, much like a dehydrated person’s body quickly puts any water they drink to use.

Killer Clowns From Outer Space!  Sorry... that just kinda slipped out.

Here are 4 shows from the 80's and 90's that were twisted enough to get stuck in my head.

"Amazing Stories" - Not too scary but just really weird.  Rented the series recently on Netflix.

    "Tales From the Darkside"

    "Tales From the Crypt"

"Alfred Hitchock Presents" - The remake

I think there were two I remember: one where time stopped and the woman sees a nuclear missle "flaoting" overhead and the other where a person wakes up a few minutes "ahead of time" and sees people getting the world ready.  I don't recall which went with each show though.

Reality shows were never my thing.  I saw most of them but never paid too much attention and Air Crash Investigations/Mayday didn't come out until the 2000's :)

I liked the first Real World as far as Reality shows go. It was pretty good up to Boston.

When I was real young, I liked Rescue 911. I remember when someone crashed their car into someoene's porch behind my house, I kept telling my mom: "CALL RESUE 911 CALL RESCUE 911 ARE WE GOING TO BE ON TV?"

    lol

That was an excellant show and way ahead of its time scary-wise for broadcast tv.It scared the crap out of me too.I cant remember the name of the episode but one of them had an animated suit of armor that was coming back to life or something like that anyways, that was going around killing people.I slept with my head under the sheets that night, hehe.
