    MMORPG.COM are you pulling our leg here? Special offer only for mmorpg members?A 7 day trial? They always had this trial going on...What's so special and why is this an offer?

    So after the 7 day trial expires you still have to buy the game?  Or is it possible to just pay the monthly fee after the 7 days and have all content unlocked after using this trial code? (what makes it different than what is already available?)

    As pupurun said, hasn't CoH always had a free trial going?  I'm now confused...

    So how is this mmorpg exclusive any different from the regular free trial that's always available through the CoH website?

    I'm still not seeing it becuase that text is word for word what shows on the CoH trial "about" page:

    2nd paragraph:

    I'm not trying to be difficult - honest :)  I'm just genuinely confused as to what MMORPG.com is up to.  Feel like I have to be missing something here, but so far can't spot it.

    Well we are still waiting from someone from mmorpg.com to explain to us WHY this is an exclusive offer.

    So far the game's website offers the exact same thing to anyone .

    The CoH trial only includes content from heroes/villians. Going rogue content is different. the 7 day trial here is allowing u to play through the expansion content, allowing u to make a preatorian, rather than just a hero or villian. regular trial only allows u to make heroes and villians, not the new nuetral guys.

    False and False.  Free trials for CoH give you access to all of it, including going rogue.  This is how misinformation starts -- if you don't know, don't speak up.

    Sorry guys.  I was not aware of this thread - a member just emailed me to bring it to my attention.

    Basically, up until a few days ago I was not aware that there was an existing 7 day trial for CoH on the official site.  I emailed my contact at NCSoft asking why this was said to be exclusive to our site and they still have not answered me.  I cannot see anything different about what they gave us so I am going to take this offer offline this weekend.

    From what I can tell this was just a way for them to get free promotional value from our website without really giving anything special to our community.  I'm not really happy with them about it either...

    I apologize for the confusion...had I known this going in I would have never accepted this offer to run on our site.

    Thanks for the info!  That was me that emailed because the curiosity got the better of me *grin*.

    NCSoft is using you guys!
